Education The Education Committee is assembling subcommittees to implement all the planning work that came about through the Education Summit and the Education survey results. Licensing and Credentialing Drs. Karen Kushner and Deborah Gordon led a team that conducted the ministerial intensives for 38 recent graduates of the 400-series ministerial training. We now have 34 new ministers as a result of this process. We will announce all of our new ministers, which will include the second group of ministerial graduates who were paneled in August.
What’s Up with Our Youth Department? What keeps children excited and engaged in youth ministry on Sundays? Amazing Volunteers! A dedicated and consistent group of youth ministry volunteers is essential to a healthy and thriving youth program. Sometimes they show up on their own and sometimes they may need to be hand selected. Either way, when you have them – do what it takes to keep them! If you are looking at starting a Youth Ministry Program and are not sure where to start, email: mlang@csl.org. We have great ideas and tools to get you started! Did you know? We are building a team of Youth Program Support Coordinators to work with the Regional Support Coordinators in providing you as much support and resources as possible for your youth ministry program.
