Rev. Kathleen Lenover
If you have an interest in spirituality and/or money, I share that with you. My early education was provided by the Sisters of Charity so upon graduating high school I joined these phenomenal women who provided both a bachelor’s degree in education and my first Masters degree. After teaching the gamut of ages and ethnic groups I felt called to do a kind of work not available after 13 years as a Sister. Upon leaving the Community in my early 30’s I felt like an 18 year old knowing nothing about financial independence. It was time to learn survival fast.
Thanks to a Jesuit education I was extremely comfortable with New Thought theology. Drawn to Unity and Science of Mind experiences, I eventually ended up becoming a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner with Centers for Spiritual Living and ultimately being drawn to the ministerial path, earning my second Masters degree.
Meanwhile, we teach what we most need to learn, so I was drawn to 31 years of educating and counseling people regarding their finances. I never liked math so it was a great stretch for me. With an earned Certified Financial Planner designation, I managed to acquire numerous securities licenses including, Registered Investment Advisor, Certified Financial Coach, Certified Senior Advisor, and numerous other focused trainings.
After selling my financial planning practice to a team of advisors, I have embraced the joy of sharing my spiritual commitment and extensive financial experience with those who are attracted to that. Is this you? If so, I look forward to getting to know you in one of my classes. Namaste!
