In Bali, Indonesia Dewi Sri is the Rice Goddess. She is honored and venerated. Communities celebrate her during the harvest by making bamboo temples placed in the upstream, sacred corners of the rice fields, flags are hung, and small rice stalks representing Drew Sri are offered as offerings in granaries.
