Practitioner Training is completed as two courses, Practitioner I & Practitioner II, over a two year period. Each course begins in October (see details below), lasts 30 weeks, and culminates in a required end-of-year retreat. Class size will not exceed twenty (20) students per class.
Students who have completed the 6 required prerequisite courses may apply for entry into the CSL Online Practitioner I Training.
Students who have completed the 6 required prerequisite courses and Practitioner I training, may apply for entry into the CSL Online Practitioner II Training.
All students must complete the requirements listed below. Be sure to download the application prior to completing it.
1.) Online Education Program Practitioner Training Application

2.) Affiliation Agreement. The CSL Online Education Program requires that all students enrolled in the Practitioner Training Program through CSL Online Education, must have an Affiliation Agreement on file throughout the duration of their Practitioner Training detailing CSL Community membership. Review the Affiliation Agreement Policy listed below and then complete the Online Prac Training Affiliation Agreement Form. Forms are submitted to Rev. 3.) At least 2 Letters of Recommendation, with at least one recommendation coming from a Minister. Additional letters of recommendation can be submitted by previous instructors or Practitioners.
NOTE: Instructions on how to submit the letters of recommendation are listed in the application.
4.) Schedule and Complete Interview. All students are required to complete an interview with the Practitioner Training Instructor and a Representative from the CSL Spiritual Development Education department, prior to entry into the course. Upon receipt of your Application and Affiliation Agreement, you will be contacted with details on how to schedule your interview.
Registration for the 2021-2022 Practitioner training opens the first week in August. Once the above requirements have been completed, students can register for the Practitioner Training course. You will be provided a unique registration link. Tuition for the course will include all additional fees, including the retreat fee for the required end-of-year retreat. Registration is due by September 23, 2021
