Things to know about joining a CSL Virtual Circle<\/h2>\n

You should have a subscription to the Guide for Spiritual Living Science of Mind magazine<\/a>.<\/strong>
\nThe Spiritual Living Circles program was created to support the magazine and its subscribers. A free six-month digital subscription is provided (new subscribers only). Once you register for a Virtual Circle you will receive the free offer.<\/p>\n

Read the article being discussed<\/strong>
\nConversation is richer when you’ve aquainted yourself with the article. With advanced registration, a copy of the discussion guide will be made available to you.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Attend as regularly as you can<\/strong>
\nYou may attend one meeting or all of the meetings in a session. The group grows stronger when you attend regularly. The Virtual Spiritual Living Circle takes place year-round; the days and times vary.<\/p>\n

Your Circle hosts<\/strong>
\nThe Virtual Circle is hosted on Zoom hosted by teams of CSL Practitioners, produced by the Spiritual Development Department of Centers for Spiritual Living. Biographies are provided below.<\/p>\n

Your camera should be on<\/strong>
\nWe are all participants, and this is a safe and sacred place. Having your camera on is expected as part of the trust involved. You may turn your camera off to excuse yourself\u2014putting a quick note in the chat is a great way to let your host and technician know that you intend to return. When you return, please put your camera back on.<\/p>\n

Everybody shares<\/strong>
\nSharing is part of the way we build trust in a group. You may refrain from sharing your first time but thereafter you can expect your host to invite everyone into the conversation.<\/p>\n

The CSL Virtual Circles follow these guidelines for sharing<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Practice active listening, to really hear other people, and to benefit from their sharing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Keep all sharing in the Circle confidential.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Share from your own feelings and experiences. Do not comment on another\u2019s sharing or give advice.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    KEEP YOUR SHARING SHORT. This allows everyone time to share if they choose to do so.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Wait until everyone else has had a chance to share before asking to share again.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    As sharing begins, center yourself in love and compassion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Be aware of the precious gift you are being given when someone has the courage to share.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Make the space for sharing without categorizing what you are hearing as positive or negative, good or bad.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Nicola Archibald, RScP<\/h2>\n

    Nicola became a Licensed Centers for Spiritual Living Practitioner in 2024 out of a deep desire to live her spirituality as a daily practice. After living with chronic pain for over 25 years, she was drawn to the Science of Mind philosophy, whose values align with her lifelong spiritual curiosity, belief in a shared connection, and faith in the Divine.<\/p>\n

    As a practitioner, Nicola believes in creating a life that works for everyone, in walking each other home, and in a shared connection through One Mind, One Power, and One Presence. She is inspired by Science of Mind as a practical philosophy that integrates New Thought wisdom and spiritual law into accessible, everyday tools for conscious living.<\/p>\n

    After stepping away from a 30-year career managing large-scale technology projects in the public safety sector, Nicola now devotes her professional life to service as a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner and Life and Wellness Coach. Her work focuses on supporting and empowering individuals as they navigate health challenges, significant life transitions, and the call to live more authentically.<\/p>\n

    Nicola lives on Westwood Plateau in Coquitlam, British Columbia with her husband of 32 years and their two cats. She is a lifelong learner with an MBA, a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, diplomas in Project Management and Marketing Management, and supplemental training in Psychology, Life Coaching, and Compassionate Listening. She enjoys meditation, cultivating meaningful connections, and building community.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Maryellen Haddock, RScP<\/h2>\n

    Maryellen was fortunate to have a very eclectic background with friends and relatives across many faiths. Raised Protestant, she attended various churches and always maintained a personal, direct connection with God.<\/p>\n

    As an adult, she didn’t attend church regularly. After her husband died, a friend introduced her to a Center for Spiritual Living. From the moment she entered, she felt like she was home. She was drawn to the teachings of Ernest Holmes and Science of Mind, and began taking classes right away. She became a CSL Practitioner in 2017 and has been in service ever since.<\/p>\n

    Her core belief is we are meant to be happy, joyful, and full of life, and it is up to us to consciously create the life we want\u2014there is only One Life, and we are all a part of that One. Her mission is to help people realize they have the power within themselves and that, with God, all things are possible.<\/p>\n

    She holds a Master’s of Education in Special Education and her professional career spans education, technology, and customer service. She is currently an administrator at the YMCA. Within her CSL community, she has been in charge of technology, served as a board member, hosted a Spiritual Living Circle, and currently teaches various classes and workshops.<\/p>\n

    She has three sons, six grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, and lives part-time with her granddaughter. She enjoys golfing, traveling, attending the theater and symphony, visiting art museums, and spending quality time with family.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Catherine Snider, RScP<\/h2>\n

    Catherine joined CSL Boulder Valley in 2013 when she realized how much she needed the help of a spiritual community in living the principles she believed.\u00a0The music, the message, and the heartfelt fellowship she found there\u00a0made a profound impact and inspired her ongoing commitment to foster that same enriching experience for others.<\/p>\n

    She completed Practitioner training in the summer of 2022 and currently serves as Board President of CSL Boulder Valley. Her work is grounded in the conviction that thought and word shape experience, and she is dedicated to supporting individuals in discovering the divine light within themselves.<\/p>\n

    Catherine\u00a0has just completed a book of devotional readings inspired by early New Thought writers, making their insights and ideas accessible to the modern reader. She\u00a0loves creating spaces where spiritual exploration and discovery can take place. Catherine recently retired from a local university where she served on their web team in both creative and technical capacities. Bringing her skills and training into service at CSL Boulder Valley has been a deeply fulfilling expression of her commitment to spiritual growth and community support.<\/p>\n

    Catherine lives with her partner near Boulder, Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys\u00a0photography, sewing and exploring the mountains in a 4wd.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Shelley Dill, RScP<\/h2>\n

    Shelley is a licensed Science of Mind Practitioner, serving on the Virtual Online Practitioner Program through CSL Home Office. Shelley has served as an online host for zoom prayer rooms for several years now, and enjoys it greatly. Shelley\u2019s focus ministry of Self-Care was revealed in 2004. Since then, she has been leading playshops and given talks on the Art of Joyful Self-Care, sharing the Buddhist precept, \u201cSelf-Care is the path to Peace on Earth\u201d, that is the lodestone of her ministry.<\/p>\n

    A lifelong musician, Shelley has known all along that her ministry be rooted in music as the ministry, and the ministry as music. As a spiritual dowser, Shelley believes in the transformative power of recognizing the Inherent Light of everyone, and bringing that light within All to the surface.<\/p>\n

    Shelley is continuing her education to become a licensed Minister, expanding the bandwidth of who she is able to serve. It is her joy to host these Virtual Spiritual Living Circles to facilitate the deeper conversations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Claire Holsten, RScP<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

    Claire became a licensed spiritual practitioner<\/span> in the summer of 2022<\/span> and is part of the Virtual Practitioner Program<\/span>. After taking an early retirement from Corporate America, Claire now runs her own In-Home\/On-Line Personal Training business helping people achieve their health and fitness goals.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Claire is also very passionate about her work with Social Justice issues and se<\/span>r<\/span>ves on numerous committees includ<\/span>ing the<\/span> Commission on Religion and Race<\/span>. She<\/span> was a facilitator for <\/span>Race & Equity Law Enforcement Criminal Justice Workgroup, <\/span>Board member of the recent <\/span>Center for Justice & Equity<\/span> of N<\/span>ew <\/span>H<\/span>ampshire<\/span> board and <\/span>a<\/span> member of The<\/span> <\/span>Ethnic and Racial Disparities Subcommittee of the N<\/span>ew <\/span>H<\/span>ampshire<\/span> Juvenile Justice Reform Commission.\u202f

    Claire resides with her wife of 40 years and their three Siberian Huskies in New Hampshire.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Carolyn James, RScP<\/h2>\n

    Carolyn was introduced to Science of Mind in her early teens after reading two pivotal books Living, Loving, and Learning<\/em> by Leo F. Buscaglia and You Can Heal Your Life<\/strong> by Louise Hay. These two works began her journey, igniting the knowledge that there was more to spiritual life than what she had read in biblical texts. She discoveryed the Science of Mind, which has been transformed into a lifelong passion and pursuit of Truth.<\/p>\n

    Carolyn decided to officially study Science of Mind in 2015 and received her Practitioner License in 2017. Since that time Carolyn\u2019s journey has included becoming a Hatha and Kundalini Yoga Teacher, a Louise Hay Certified Life Coach, and a Reiki Master, She is currently pursuing her Master\u2019s at University of Metaphysics in Sedona, Arizona.<\/p>\n

    Carolyn has many interests that inform her desire to contribute to creating a world that works for all.
