Transformational Ministry
Originally offered only to Ministers applying for Interim Ministry roles, the Transformational Ministry course is now open to all Ministers. The skills taught in this course—navigating change, introducing new ideas, and managing dynamic emotions—are equally valuable for Ministers serving their current communities as they are for those leading communities through periods of transition. The course provides essential tools for managing community change and teaching vital skills, including communication and conflict resolution, in a loving and constructive way.

The Calling of Interim Ministry
Interim Ministry is a profound calling within Centers for Spiritual Living, requiring patience, resilience, and the ability to support a community through discomfort and healing. Ministers in this role utilize the full breadth of their experience to help communities heal from loss, move beyond conflict, and navigate change.
Through this program, you will:

  • Develop conscious communication skills
  • Acquire tools for conflict transformation
  • Learn strategies for peacemaking, bridge-building, and personal growth

Application and Certification
This program is one of several educational requirements for applying to serve as an Interim Minister within Centers for Spiritual Living. Completion of the program does not guarantee work or placement in a CSL Member Community.
Interested participants who successfully complete the program may apply to join the CSL Interim Ministry Team. The application process includes:

  • Completing an application
  • Submitting an information packet
  • Attending an interview
  • Providing a background check and reference letters

For additional information, please contact Rev. Nan Bankston, Director of Field Services, at nbankston@csl.org.

Cath DePalma, a pioneer in the study of metaphysics, has dedicated her life to working with Universal Principles and practicing how they work in real-life situations. She has a great understanding of how Life works and what is needed to experience exceptional results. It is from her own life lessons, discoveries, years of life experience, and expertise that she teaches and guides others in a fun, loving way. This inspires and empowers them to experiment with these principles in their own lives in order that they may come to know themselves in a deeper way and have a closer relationship with Spirit.

For over 30 years she has counseled, coached and encouraged thousands of people from all over the world, with various backgrounds and beliefs. For 26 of those years, Cath and her husband, John, co-directed the Orlando-based Central Florida Center for Spiritual Living. A motivational speaker, teacher and writer, Cath has a unique gift for working with others as they move through transformation. She is the author of, I Can Do This Thing Called Life and So Can You! and its beautiful companion workbook, Energize Your Creative Powers and soon to be released, I Do My Best Work Behind the Scenes. For the past 7 years she has been working with spiritual leaders and communities under transformation. She also continues to support Outreach Program’s schools for children in Tanzania. She is available for speaking, workshops, and private consultations.
