Spiritual Leader What a wonderful conference we had in Las Vegas. It was so nice to see so many of us in attendance and what a great lineup of inspirational speakers and workshops. I thought that almost everyone came away with a clearer understanding of our Strategic Plan and the supporting dashboard, as well as insight into our curriculum and education programs. |

Our 2015 Spiritual Living Convention was a great success. A remarkable amount of information was shared, and there was a general consensus that we accomplished During our business meeting, I shared these 2014 achievements and ideas about where we are headed in 2015. |

Member Support & Education Update
Ministerial Education Subcommittee of the Education Committee is moving toward a proposal for the field to review that takes into consideration our history and the call to provide ministerial education for now and the future. We are looking to bring forward a program that addresses the real life world of today. |

The “Ops” & Events Report
In this issue I want to thank our wonderful convention committee: Co-chairs Dr. Petra Weldes, Rev. Sherri Quanders, Dr. Michelle Medrano, Rev. John Scott, Dr. Dee Sermons RScP, Rev. Sally Robbins, Rev. Doug LeBow, Tammi Kushner and Joe Martin. Also, I want to thank our Home Office staff and the volunteers for all their hard work. We also had some amazing music, workshops and speakers.

From Surviving to Thriving was the theme of our 2015 Spiritual Living Convention, and what an amazing convention it turned out to be. We sold out! People waited During the convention I had the opportunity to have lunch with individuals who will lead this organization into its future. I met with members of the Teen Leadership and the Young Adult Leadership — what an awe-inspiring group. I never miss an opportunity to spend time with them. |

SPECIAL REPORTS… From Global Services It’s been a time of rapid evolution for Global Services. In the last several months we had a great deal of change in our membership. We express our gratitude to our retiring members, Rev. Monica Sandoval and Rev. Sheila Weldon, for their passion and dedication to our global communities. Please take a moment to get acquainted with the new body of the Global Services Committee by visiting http://globalservices.csl.org/about-us.html A group of our members and Rev. Mark Gilbert met before the convention in Las Vegas to revisit our Strategic Plan. They’ve established a foundation for a renewed plan and will continue work with the whole group. The renewed plan is forthcoming. We hosted a breakout session at the convention to report on global works and to discuss our Partnership Program. A pamphlet introducing our Partnership Program was also included in the convention registration packets. This program is a major focus for us. Our global communities consistently report that their greatest desire for support from North America is to have connection and to feel a sense of community with others in the world. The thrust of the Partnership Program is to link communities around the world to promote cultural exchange, community and individual prayer support, and other creative means of mutual support. There is more information on our Partnership Program on our web pages. In Memoriam…The global work of Centers for Spiritual Living has recently experienced a profound loss. Rev. Jennie Goff, a tireless proponent of our philosophy in the world, made her transition last month. Jennie had been a significant energy for the advancement of Centers for Spiritual Living’s Spanish Language Ministry. The Science of Mind Archives & Library Foundation was honored to be a Bronze sponsor of the The Archives team truly enjoyed meeting so many people from the different Centers around the world, and sharing the vast resources that the Archives has to offer, including books on the history of Science of Mind personally autographed by Dr. Marilyn, and sharing the website — giving “live” tours of the resources available at the click of a mouse.
Kathy Mastroianni, Archives and Library manager, had a great time connecting attendees with our past; learning more about history from people like Rev. Dr. Jay Scott Neale, and talking with Rev. Keith Cox and the Centers for Spiritual Living Youth Group. What great, dynamic energy — our future is in good hands!
