About Rev. Mark Gilbert
Rev. Mark Gilbert is the author of four books including Be Yourself – Evolving the World through Personal Empowerment and Our Spiritual Evolution. He publishes his current spiritual thoughts on New Thought and the Science of Mind at www.consciousbridge.com as well as on his YouTube channel.
Rev. Mark is an ordained CSL minister, first serving a Denver area community before beginning a 10-year stint in various roles in CSL’s home office including creating their Global Services Department.
Rev. Mark is a passionate student of metaphysics who loves his role as a teacher, seeing it as one of simplifying complex ideas, facilitating the emergence of the student’s inner wisdom, and setting the stage for those wonderful “a-ha” moments!
Rev. Mark currently serves on the board of the Science of Mind Archives and Library Foundation. In that capacity he has compiled a new book coming out from Science of Mind Publishing in 2023 entitled “Ernest Holmes at Asilomar”.
Rev. Mark holds degrees in Psychology and Consciousness Studies. He lives in Colorado, with his wife, Mary, and his chocolate lab, Penny.

Linda is a Practitioner Emeritus (Lifetime), inspirational speaker and yoga instructor by profession and passion, working at the intersection of spirituality and wellness for 33 years. She is known for her passionate presence, soulful spirit and inspiring wisdom. As a career Practitioner for 30+ years, she has offered spiritual guidance and support in a variety of settings, from medical offices to movie sets, in 16,000+ private sessions, with countless testimonials of deep transformation and healing experiences from those she has served.
Her ‘Ministry of Presence’ is a refuge for those seeking sacred healing, guidance and grief support. As a professional educator, she shares her expertise and experience as an esteemed faculty member of the Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL) Online Education Program, with a focus on Practitioner Training. She has been involved in the training and licensing of 400+ Practitioners and specializes in providing mentoring for Practitioners through her Touchstone Mentoring Circles Program.
As a Certified Grief Educator, trained by esteemed author David Kessler, an additional focus of her ministry is contributing to the consciousness of shifting from a grief-illiterate culture to grief-informed one.
Her professional contributions were recognized in 2009 when she received the UCSL Jackie Sorensen Professional Practitioner Award and as the recipient of the CSL 2012 Practitioner Meritorious Award.
She is a seasoned presenter at events and conferences, including the Parliament of the World Religions and travels extensively, supporting and inspiring Practitioners, Ministers and their communities, presenting professional development programs, leadership training and retreats. As a founding member of the Agape International Spiritual Center, she shares resources for cultivating dynamic, successful spiritual communities. Personally trained and mentored in deep transformational practices and wisdom by acclaimed visionaries, Dr. Michael Beckwith & Dr. Jean Houston, their teachings are intricately woven into her practices and presentations.
During her 3 year term as the elected Chair of the inaugural CSL Practitioner Council, (2012-2015) she dedicated her efforts to bringing 2,000 Practitioners into the integrated, unified CSL organization.
Linda spent many years in the public school arena, teaching high school students and directing district-wide programs. She earned degrees in English and French, with post-degree studies in Educational Psychology, and completed coursework for a Masters degree in Transformational Leadership Training.
Originally from Chicago, Linda resides in southern California, spending as much time as possible with her family and precious granddaughter!

What to know about ACS
- Complete the application below
Along with the application you will be required to submit a nonrefundable registration fee of $100. - You will need two letters of recommendation.
You will submit the names and email addresses for your two references during the application process. Your references will automatically be sent instructions for submitting their letters of recommendation. It is best that you contact them prior to submitting your application. Note, one must be from a CSL minister. It is recommended that other come from a teacher or practitioner that have been part of your journey. - Once this application is complete, we will send you a progress report. Confirm these records for accuracy.
If there are any discrepancies, let us know. You will be instructed to reach out to the community where classes were taken. The community will verify the coursework and complete the registration process. - Attend a “Back to School” session.
Each class has a scheduled “back to school” session that is mandatory to attend. You will have the opportunity to meet your teacher, teaching assistant, and the other students of the class in this fun, engaging, and informative event. - Consider Your Community Affiliation.
If you intend to continue on into Professional Practitioner Studies, please note that all licensed practitioners are required to be affiliated with a CSL member community. You will need to declare your community as part of the PPS application process next year. If you are not currently affiliated with a CSL member community, please take some time this year to consider where you would like your license to be held. You can find a community here.

Rev. Ruth Kirby is an ordained Centers for Spiritual Living Minister who has founded a Center, a Teaching Chapter, and served as a Youth Director since becoming a Minister in 2004. She has been teaching Science of Mind classes since 1996 when she was licensed as a Centers for Spiritual Living Practitioner.
Teaching has always been a passion for her and so she was excited to join the Online Education Program in 2017 as an Online Educator and has been teaching Science of Mind principles to people all over the world since then.
She is also an ICF Certified Life Coach, incorporating Neuro-Linguistic-Programing (NLP), Science of Mind principles and a forward movement focus resulting in powerful processes for personal transformation. One of her favorite things to do outside of her work is Improv Acting and she belongs to an improv performance troupe called Improv Alchemy which performs a couple times a year in Ashland Oregon where she resides. You will be guided to answer only the appropriate questions for entering Professional Practitioner Studies. Along with the application you will be required to submit a nonrefundable registration fee of $100. - You will need to be affiliated with a CSL member community.
As part of the application for Professional Practitioner Studies, you will need to declare your affiliation with a member community. This will be the community that intends to hold your license after successful completion of the course, testing, and paneling. If you do not have an affiliation with a member community you may consider the Virtual Practitioner Program through CSL Home Office. - Attend a “Back to School” session.
Each class has a scheduled “back to school” session that is mandatory to attend. You will have the opportunity to meet your teacher, teaching assistant, and the other students of the class in this fun, engaging, and informative event.
