Important Information
The 2026 Fall Special Meeting & Election will happen a little differently than you may be used to. Primarily, this shift is to ensure ample time and opportunity for quorum to be met. The format and details of the meeting are listed below. There are a few important aspects to be aware of so please make yourself familiar with the format of this meeting.
Dates
The Fall Special Meeting and Election are scheduled for November 2–9, with voting taking place November 9–10.
Meeting Structure & Participation
This Fall Special Meeting will take place in an asynchronous format over the course of one week:
- A prerecorded meeting video will be made available to all delegates beginning November 2
- Delegates are required to watch the recording and complete an official attendance form anytime between November 2-9
Determining Quorum
Quorum will be established based on verified participation during the official meeting window (November 2–9). Specifically:
- Each delegate who submits the attendance form after viewing the prerecorded meeting will be counted as “present” for quorum purposes
- The total number of valid attendance form submissions received by the close of the meeting window (prior to the voting window November 9) will constitute the official attendance count
- This total will be used to determine whether quorum has been met in accordance with governing requirements
This approach ensures that participation is accessible while still maintaining accountability and clear documentation of attendance.
Voting
- Voting will take place on November 9, beginning at 4 p.m. MT.
- The voting window will remain open for 24 hours, closing on November 10, 4 p.m. MT.
The 2026 Fall Special Election Ballot
The ballot for the CSL 2026 Special Election will contain sections for Member Community Agreement and a resolution to update quorum requirements in the Centers for Spiritual Living bylaws.
A sample ballot will be provided at a future date.
Member Community Agreement
The Member Community Agreement (MCA) is the updated governing agreement between CSL and its Member Communities, replacing the 2012 Affiliation Agreement. It defines what CSL commits to provide and what each community commits to in return.

Resolution to Change Quorum in the Bylaws
Delegates will vote on a resolution to amend Article III, Section 3.5 of the bylaws of Centers for Spiritual Living to reduce the quorum requirement from sixty percent (60%) to fifty-one percent (51%) of certified voting delegates.

Información importante
La Reunión Especial de Otoño y Elección 2026 se llevará a cabo de una manera un poco diferente a la habitual. Fechas

Estructura de la reunión y participación
La Reunión Especial de Otoño se realizará en un formato asincrónico durante el transcurso de una semana.
- A partir del 2 de noviembre, todos los delegados tendrán acceso a una grabación en video de la reunión.
- Cada delegado deberá ver la grabación y completar el formulario oficial de asistencia en cualquier momento entre el 2 y el 9 de noviembre.
Cómo se determinará el quórum
El quórum se establecerá con base en la participación verificada durante el período oficial de la reunión (del 2 al 9 de noviembre). Específicamente:
- Cada delegado que envíe el formulario de asistencia después de ver la reunión grabada será considerado presente para efectos del quórum.
- El número total de formularios de asistencia válidos recibidos antes del cierre del período de la reunión (antes de que inicie la votación el 9 de noviembre) constituirá el registro oficial de asistencia.
- Ese total se utilizará para determinar si se alcanzó el quórum, de acuerdo con los requisitos establecidos en los estatutos.
Este formato permite una participación más accesible, al mismo tiempo que mantiene un registro claro y verificable de la asistencia.
Votación
- La votación comenzará el 9 de noviembre a las 4:00 p. m. (hora de la Montaña, MT).
- La ventana de votación permanecerá abierta durante 24 horas y cerrará el 10 de noviembre a las 4:00 p. m. (MT).
Boleta de la Elección Especial CSL 2026
La boleta de la Elección Especial CSL 2026 incluirá dos secciones; El Acuerdo de la Comunidad de Miembros (Member Community Agreement, MCA) y una resolución para actualizar los requisitos de quórum en los estatutos de Centers for Spiritual Living.

El Acuerdo de la Comunidad de Miembros (MCA) es el acuerdo de gobierno actualizado entre Centers for Spiritual Living y sus Comunidades Miembro, y reemplaza el Acuerdo de Afiliación de 2012. Este documento define los compromisos que CSL asume con las Comunidades Miembro y los compromisos que cada comunidad asume con CSL.

Los delegados votarán una resolución para modificar el Artículo III, Sección 3.5 de los estatutos de Centers for Spiritual Living, con el fin de reducir el requisito de quórum del 60% al 51% de los delegados certificados con derecho a voto.
